Academic - Scientific Education
ACADEMIC OR SCIENTIFIC EDUCATION
It is effected in the following five (5) departments of the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki.
- Faculty of Health Sciences (Schools of Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy)
- Faculty of Economic and Political Science (School of Economics)
- Faculty of Law (School of Law)
- Faculty of Philosophy (School of Psycology)
The students of the MSCSO are taught in exactly the same way and have exactly the same obligations as regular University students. They have to attend all the courses provided for by the curriculum of the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki, and they do their practical training in its laboratories and clinics. The course of the Medical School lasts six years, of the Veterinary Medicine - Dentistry - Pharmacy School five years, of the Law - Economics - Psychology School four years.
Competent officers of the Direction of Studies monitor the University education of the students and their academic performance.
After graduation, students may pursue postgraduate studies in Greece and abroad.
